Piemonte Calcio Retro Mattrel Goalkeeper Retro Football Shirt
Carlo Mattrel (born April 14th 1937, in Turin, died September 25th 1976, in Fronte Canavese) was an Italian footballer. He was a goalkeeper who played with Juventus for most of his career, winning three Serie A titles (1958, 1960, 1961) and three Coppa Italia tournaments (1959, 1960, 1965). He was also part of the Italian squad in the 1962 FIFA World Cup, and made his first and only appearance for the azzurri in the infamous match against Chile known also as Battle of Santiago.
